Restroom?[edit]

Why does this look like a men's restroom icon? --Damian Yerrick () 16:32, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello.
Well, we, at Wikipedia, are not responsible of the design choices made by external societies for their icons. This one is the new official icon for the Attribution specification of Creative Commons. I've just reproduced this visual, as you can see it via the external links given as reference. Sting 15:21, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Category[edit]

{{Editprotected}} Administrator, please add the file to the new category SVG Creative Commons icons. --Petrus Adamus (talk) 11:30, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Replace with optimized[edit]

{{Editprotected}} This is a much used file and this version File:Scrubcccby.svg is much smaller. Palosirkka (talk) 15:05, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done per this discussion. Rd232 (talk) 13:59, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Licensing?[edit]

I'm wondering why these images aren't tagged with PD-ineligible. Do they really meet the threshold of originality? Also, these are CC trademarks, so shouldn't they be tagged with the Trademark template? Please enlighten an ignorant mind. :P Hylian King ZW (talk) 13:04, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Invalid[edit]

Please replace with valid Scrubcccby.svg and copy {{validSVG}}. I simply used the old (2012, see above) unused + invalid file name to park a new valid version. –Be..anyone (talk) 16:44, 6 March 2014 (UTC) {{Editprotected}}[reply]

@Be..anyone: it would be good to fix the invalid expressions, but how do you address the points on readability raised at [1] by Rillke? whym (talk) 01:40, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Whym: "Making invalid SVG valid or removing references to raster images that don't exist is ok".
Rillke's quote in a nutshell: "Valid"  beats "readable"
Just in case, I created the actual Scrubcccby.svg with rsvg, SVG to SVG, from the invalid protected source, not from the invalid old scour-version, and I added syntactic sugar (parameters) to the <svg>-element to satisfy the W3C-validator. This shouldn't be too bad, MediaWiki also uses rsvg. –Be..anyone (talk) 10:47, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds like a lot of work. All one had to do was
-xmlns:sodipodi="http://inkscape.sourceforge.net/DTD/sodipodi-0.dtd"
+xmlns:sodipodi="http://sodipodi.sourceforge.net/DTD/sodipodi-0.dtd"
